Hello! My name is Emma Le, and I am the co-founder of the UCLA Chapter of the Healthy Hands Initiative alongside Jonah! I am currently a third year undergraduate student at UCLA majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology on the pre-medicine track, hoping to specialize in pediatrics. Although I have only just started my journey with HHI in the past few years, I am incredibly eager to contribute through the engagement of younger generations at UCLA, showcasing how small, collective actions can lead to changes of higher and unimaginable magnitudes. With a passion for pediatrics, I am particularly motivated by how clean water access can improve the health and educational opportunities of children, especially in schools in financially marginalized areas. I look forward to contributing to HHI’s overall mission and growing alongside the organization in years to come!
